This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the engineering department and will be participating in the development of fish handling solutions, both at conceptual stage and in the detailed development state. In this role, you will provide technical support, operations experience, continuous improvement and project management skills and be a contributing member of a team on design and implementation of solutions within customized projects. You will provide insights to enable the operational area to achieve variable and fixed cost and operating efficiency targets, while protecting our people, communities, the environment and assets and honor our business obligations.

About Our Client

Euskan Fish Handling Systems is a Spanish Danish owned company, developing innovative fish handling systems for fishing and aquaculture. The company is executing an ambitious growth plan based, mainly, in the development of aquaculture sector where important milestones has been achieved, participating in some of the most renowned RAS land-based projects. As part of this plan, the company is opening some new positions including engineering, project management and sales.

About the Role

The candidate will join the engineering department and will be participating in the development of fish handling solutions, both at conceptual stage and in the detailed development state. In parallel, the candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of solutions within customized projects, including field supervision work (i.e., assembly & commissioning supervision).

Activities to be carried out, include among others:

• Product/system development
• System calculation
• 2D and 3D design.
• Field supervision: system/piping assembly & commissioning supervision

The Ideal Candidate

• Engineering degree (alternatively engineer without degree with background in a trade)
• Experience in product development for seafood industry (fish handing/fish processing)
• Expertise in fluid dynamics will be positively valued.
• Experience in fish pumping/transport solutions will be positively valued.
• Field experience: assembly & commissioning supervision, trouble shooting.
• 2D and 3D design skills
• Communication skills and empathy – Language skills (English on Pro-level)
• Autonomous and self-organized
• Ability to work in an international/global environment.
• Target and result oriented mind.
• Availability to travel
