We are working very closely with a long-standing, leading player in genetics and early nutrition for shrimp aquaculture. They are looking to expand in the U.S. by bringing in an individual that has a passion and capacity in all areas of business to include Operations, Sales and Administration. 

This role is intended to ensure smooth running of the whole site – HSE, Biosecurity, Maintenance, Admin, HR, Sales and Operations of broodstock production located in Fellsmere, Florida.

The Role

Management of all aspects of SyAqua’s broodstock operations in the USA and operate production units to meet budget targets. Plan and forecast production in line with sales targets same time manage staff recruitments, talent retention, disciplinary and payroll required data.

Monitor, evaluate, manage and develop staff performance. Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with relevant state and federal requirements Plan budgets and requirements for capital expenditure Ensure all internal company reports and processes are executed on schedule Deal with suppliers and contractors 10.Deal with sales and distribution to ensure optimum production.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have at 7 years experience in management of commercial aquaculture production operations, experience in management of business operations in the US.
