Our Client

Our client operates, the Middle East’s first shellfish farm, producing gourmet oysters in the pristine water of Dibba, Northern Fujairah, UAE. Our client oyster is a sustainably farmed local product of the UAE with a growing reputation as a world class gourmet product. They are currently looking for a Sales Director to join to join a young and dynamic team.

 

The Role

The Sales Director capability will be to develop and execute a long-term Sales Strategy and an Annual Sales Plan to deliver sales growth, profit, free cash flow, sales and market share targets. Also develop a route to market for its produce locally, regionally and globally and delivering material exports volumes into all recognised oyster import markets, within a tight timeframe. You will be responsible for building  a high performing team and managing the team, ensuring they know what is expected of them and that they have the resources needed to succeed.

The role, which reports to the CEO will require the ability to work independently towards meeting the sales objectives. As part of the leadership team, contribution to general managerial topics and clear leadership behavior is anticipated. The Ideal Candidate

You will need to have experience in B2B or B2C sales, with fresh seafood sales or fine foods, delivering solution-based sales. You will be experienced in similar leadership role and be able to demonstrate in-depth understanding of the global fresh seafood market. Additionally you will have great presentation and communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and result driven. A track record of motivating and managing sales teams is important, but there will be times when you will need to lead from the front and walk the talk.
