Our client is unique, well establish and growing company offering a more direct service: getting freshly caught seafood from fishermen to restaurant kitchens within 24 hours! They are a boutique seafood wholesaler serving restaurants with pristine quality seafood across Northern California.
About the Role
You will work on increasing, establishing and growing the clients portfolio and build rapport and relationships in Northern California. You will manage and create accounts or territories yourself and will work closely with customers to deliver sales and increased commercial performance.
The ideal candidate will have a background in seafood sales sector or as a chef. You will be a fish expert understanding the products are a key factor. You will understand the restaurant and seafood sector and be able to build relationships with those customers. Ideally, you will have experience in implementing accounts, developing sales pipelines and provide A+ service to your clients. You will be driven to grow your career and grow within the company. You will be commercially switched on, but also operationally aware and be able to form the link between commercial and operations. You will be able to manage a book of customers effectively and drive sales in your territory whilst engraining yourself in the business. You will be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
To be considered for this role, as a minimum you will need to have at less 2 years exposure to the seafood sales sector or prior chef experience, be commercial and able to drive sales and also have experience in developing business improvements.
