About the Role
This role is all about delivering new business and leading the business growth of BioMar in North America. You will utilize your experience in the aquaculture, seafood channel to identify and target potential new business. You will then use your sales experience and tenacity to ensure and deliver a sales pipeline of new customers and opportunities constantly being developed. This role is all about hunting for new business and delivering growth opportunities for BioMar in North America and establish and build strong client relationships that allow for continuity and ongoing representation in-country reinforced by customer support, delivery and communications from other relevant UK operational teams. You will collaborate with technical, product management and R&D departments to ensure new customer needs are clarified and met. Most important be a door opener and a deal closer in the identified Canadian/US market.
The Ideal Candidate
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a proven track record of building a successful customer pipeline in new markets and experience of business development in aquaculture. You will have drive and determination to succeed and be able to work towards sales targets. You will be able to utilize your time effectively and prioritize your efforts. You will have broad knowledge of Aquaculture industry across Canada/US. You will be able to build strong relationships, well developed influencing, negotiation and analytical skills - you will be a natural leader. Additionally the french language will be a huge advantage.
